Just perfect. I bought a Gateway EC1805u 11.6 inch notebook (which is exactly the Acer 1410 series) and this baby hugs my notebook securely. I'm not using an 8-cell battery pack but I think this has enough space to accommodate it should I decide to upgrade the battery. The handle is a big bonus too making easy to carry.

I was looking a case for my 11.6 in Gateway computer I just bought & I had trouble finding some in stores so I decided to look online. I am glad I found this product because it is perfect! It protects my computer like a glove while i just open the case & use it outside without taking out the computer. I also love that it has a front zipper for the baterry or flashdrives. Now I can slip the case into my tote & head to classes!

Would have purchased on Amazon, but got a credit elsewhere which made it free--actually got Navy rather than Black. Not much to say about something like this, but it really has all pros and no cons. Unlike most sleeves, it has handles to carry it, and you don't know how much that really helps. In addition, it has an exterior zip pouch where you can put your power supply and/or mini mouse. I do prefer not to use it for power suplly though because then you start adding weight. I only need that if I am traveling, so then I just put it in my carry on instead. Finally, the foam padding really helps to protect the computer. My 11.6" Acer Aspire DOES fit nicely--a little tight, but it zips completely with nothing hanging out.
