Unfortunately, I didn't buy this mouse somewhere that I could return it--bought at a small store while on vacation far from home. Otherwise this item would have been returned for failure to work.
The mouse is smaller that most notebook mice I've seen, which is great because I have just a sleeve with a small outside pocket for my notebook computer. Overall easy to use, though not really a long-term solution for large hands. The mini-usb receiver stores right inside the mouse and it only takes a single AAA battery.
Of course, would have been better if it worked more than 2 times. I see a blinking light when I turn it On, so I know the batteries are working. It just never connects to the computer. I've tried it on XP, Vista, AND 7 with the same results--NONE. So now I have a $20+ piece of junk that isn't even large enough to be a paperweight.

Works perfectly. I particularly like the very small usb plug for a laptop that has the two usb port so close that you normally can only use one at a time.
